Karen Scott: Co-Owner and Timer
Karen grew up in Howard County, MD. and has a master's degree from Loyola College in Maryland.  The Victory Racing Company was a natural progression of a lifetime committed to running.  Karen has competed in, coached at, developed & directed running races for most of her life!  After years of coaching and competing, it's time to give back and provide an excellent experience to those that love to run and people just beginning to run.  As an athlete, Karen was a two time high school track state champion in Maryland, and competed for the University of Maryland B.C. after high school.  Karen was a member of the 2007 U.S.A. 100K World Championship team (Hokkaido, Japan), and she has won several ultra races, including the Rocky Raccoon (100mi), Texas Ultra 100K, 24 hour ultra race in Colorado (107mi) and Leadville 100 (big buckle, top 5 finisher) to mention a few events.  Karen has competed in marathons, countless 5 & 10k races, competed in over 20 triathlons, and was an active track racer during high school.  As a coach at Cheyenne Mountain H.S., Karen has dedicated the past eighteen years to helping students learn to love running.  Having competed in a variety of race distances, Karen has seen every facet of the racing experience one can have. Karen has been constant with her drive to develop races (Silver Moon XC Relays (night time), D-12 running club, Cross Country program for elementary students in Cheyenne Mt. School District, the Litefoot Running Series (First trail running series of it's kind in the U.S.) and the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede (now, the state championship course of Colorado).  These varied perspectives on a running events provide a deep level of experience that Karen brings to Victory Racing Company team.

Stan Lambros:  Vice President/Co-Owner and Race Day Management
Stan Lambros grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and has a master's degree in Education, Counseling Psychology from Loyola College, Maryland.  Stan has competed in six full Ironman races, well over thirty triathlons, several trail races, and a few snowshoe events (as a coach and athlete).  Currently, Stan is the Head Coach at Cheyenne Mountain High School for the track and cross country teams.  As a coach, athlete, spectator and fan, Stan brings his passion for sport to the Victory Racing Team.  His ability to attend to the multiple nuances of racing will bring a great amount of experience to anyone participating in a Victory Racing Company event or needing support with their event.
